Mike Avery

Mike has more than 35 years experience in agricultural industries. He has held key positions in peak industry bodies as President of the Australian Council of Wool Exporters and Processors, as a board member of the Australia Wool Testing Authority and the Australia Wool Exchange. His commercial experience include General Manager roles with CIL Australia and GrainCorp and most recently GM Wool for Queensland Cotton / Olam Pty Ltd. Michael’s key strengths lie in risk evaluation and mitigation, core process and supply chain education. Michael holds a BAppSc (UNSW) majoring in Metrology and Rural Extension and is a graduate member of the Australia Institute of Company Directors.
